Local Christian schools tell us that their biggest need is for a school to refer elementary-aged students who would not succeed at their school because of the particular learning or developmental difference a student has.
Sophia Academy is set to meet this need! We have informed the PA Department of Education that we will now be accepting students in grades K-12. Already, we have families applying for K-3 as well as grades 6-9.
Our teachers will be trained this summer to provide the intensive interventions and curriculum that will re-wire brains and ensure both academic and personal success.
We will be an IWMBC ™ network school able to deliver completely individualized curriculum based on the results of a 1300+ parameter qEEG test. We will be able to pull from over 4000 interventions to best meet each student’s need.
We accept students with dyslexia and dyscalculia, ADHD, Autism, genetic syndromes, traumatic brain injury, trauma, anxiety disorders, and more. Some students will be able to return to their sending school after a year or two with us. Others may choose to stay and graduate from Sophia Academy.
We are currently an accredited Christian school that is expanding to become a therapy center as well.
